Helping you help yourself. Whether you are struggling with a particular issue, or just cannot shake the feeling that there should be more to life, I can help. Together we will work to identify and explore those issues that may be getting in the way of a more rewarding home life and career, or of more fulfilling relationships. I will help you help yourself by providing you with the insights and tools you need to move beyond limiting beliefs and behaviors.
I take an individualized approach with each of my clients by using various therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Strength-based, positive thinking, Dialectical Behavior, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral. With an eclectic approach, I am able to help you with depression, anxiety, marriage and family matters, communication, trauma and post traumatic stress, and grief. In addition to helping individuals, I offer group therapy for women, family members and friends of people suffering severe mental health illness, and parenting.
I earned my Masters of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2013, and my Bachelors of Arts and Letters from Michigan State University in 1986. I have experience, both professionally and in my own life, helping people. Helping you help yourself, because in order to get the change and help you need, we have to work together.
